Sunny Day

 
Yesterday for the first time since we have been here, we saw the sun. We thought we were melting for a second until we realized, oh ya, there is such thing as warmth! We spent as much time as we could soaking it up and wearing matching outfits. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful date night. Shane took me to his favorite walking trail where we tried to take a few pictures. Anyone who knows my husband, knows that getting a serious picture from him is nearly impossible. I gave up after a few unsuccessful tries and just enjoyed the day with my best friend.
It turned out to be a very full day. We went downtown for sushi, visited our pup at the shelter, went swimming with friends and ended the night with two movies. We were worn out! I love the time we get to spend together. We are thankful to have the same days off.

Alive and Well

Okay, so we are alive! We just live very boring lives. Don't get us wrong, we love our life, its just not much has happened. We wake up and go to work at two, get off at ten. Then we come home and watch a movie together until one of us falls asleep on the other. Mondays, however, are different. Neither Shane or I work, it's our day off together. Most of the time we spend it sleeping in until three and then spending the rest of the day playing Uno and watching zombie movies. But did we do that today? No sir. We were productive today! We woke up at a {somewhat} reasonable time, looked around our very messy house, decided that cleaning it would be an absolutely ridiculous idea and that a walk would be so much better. A walk turned into dinner and dinner turned into a movie, soon enough it was a full blown date night. My favorite.
