How far along? 30 weeks
Size of baby? Large Cabbage
Total weight gain/loss: I currently weigh 135.4 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Yes. Getting dressed in general is just...hard. Bending over for socks? Hell on earth.
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: I keep waking up with nose bleeds!
Best moment this week: Many people who know me and my husband also know he talks in his sleep, quite clearly. This week I heard Sequoyah talking about Baby R in the middle of the night. It was darling. Also I took some maternity photos this week!
Miss Anything? Bending over. So much.
Movement: This is such a blessing and a curse for me. I LOVE feeling him flip around in there but sometimes dude, it hurts. My rib pain from last week has now encased my entire rib cage.
Food cravings: Corn dogs and Slurpees.
Anything making you queasy or sick: I don't know if this counts as "queasy" or "sick" but I get vertigo all the time now!
Have you started to show yet: Yes. I look like a creature from outer space naked.
Gender: Baby BOY.
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? I think my belly button is a little confused on how to answer this one. It's still making up it's mind.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! The closer it gets, the more overwhelmed I feel. But I'm excited!
How Toby is handling the baby: I read an article on dog's hearing and pregnancy. Apparently after 28 weeks a fetus' vocal cords are functioning and they begin to cry in the womb. Humans cannot hear it, but dogs can! I wonder if Toby can hear Baby R?
Weekly Wisdom: I've taken up eating dried fruit this week. It's super yummy and good for you!
Looking forward to: MAY

.

How far along? 29 weeks

Size of baby? Butternut Squash
Total weight gain/loss: 135 lbs.  +16 lbs!
Maternity clothes? A lot of my pre-pregnancy button-ups still fit around my belly, so I have been wearing those to work every day.
Stretch marks? NO
Sleep: Getting progressively more and more difficult. I'm up at 3 and 6 am for bathroom breaks.
Best moment this week: Watching Shane freak out over my alien-like moving belly.
Miss Anything? COOKIE DOUGH.
Movement: His little tush (I think) is right up against my ribs on my right side. They are so bruised from all his kicks and pushes.
Food cravings: I had to make cookies this week and it was TORTURE not to eat the dough.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Doing the dishes is not a fun time.
Have you started to show yet: Compared to what I usually look like not pregnant? Yes. But I am not very big yet!
Gender: Baby boy Rainer.
Labor Signs: Not yet!
Belly Button in or out? In, but pretty flat!
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty happy! Tired, but happy.
How Toby is handling the baby: Toby is getting used to all these new "rules" we are setting for him in prep for Baby R. He's managing, but not happy about it!
Weekly Wisdom: Buying underwear that fits is worth the expense! Trust me.
Looking forward to: My 30 week Dr. appointment!

How far along? 28 weeks
Size of baby? Romaine Lettuce (I'm learning so much about vegetables, you guys.)
Total weight gain/loss: I weigh 132 lbs. That's +13 lbs!
Maternity clothes? I feel guilty buying "maternity clothes." I feel like it's a waste of money if I am only going to wear them for a few months. So I started buying shirts in size LG and it's working just fine!
Stretch marks? NOPE
Sleep: HA. Funny. What's sleep?
Best moment this week: I AM IN THE THIRD TRIMESTER NOW!
Miss Anything? Bending over. I have to do a lot of this at work and after a few minutes I'm totally out of breath.
Movement: I can feel Baby R's hiccups!
Food cravings:Chinese food, which has been a constant throughout my pregnancy.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Baby R's big kicks are really the only thing that make me queasy nowadays. I'll even be thrown into coughing fits after a kick in the lungs!
Have you started to show yet: I wore a tight dress to church this week and received strange looks. It was as if they were trying to figure out if I really was pregnant or not.
Gender: All boy.
Labor Signs: Nope, but I do have a "tightening" feeling everyday.
Belly Button in or out? In. But I wouldn't be surprised if that changed in a few weeks.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I've been happy this week, I've been busy so that has kept me movin'.
How Toby is handling the baby: I might be imagining it, but I feel like Toby is developing more and more protective behaviors towards my belly.
Weekly Wisdom: Purchase a handheld shower head! Makes showering so wonderful!
Looking forward to: Meeting this baby one day!

How far along? 27 weeks
Size of baby? Head of Cauliflower
Total weight gain/loss: +11 lbs. 130 lbs. It's the most I have ever weighed in my life. So strange!
Maternity clothes? YES. I love my maternity clothes.
Stretch marks? Not on my belly...
Sleep: I usually am a night owl, but recently I have not been able to make it through an entire movie no matter what time we start it.
Best moment this week: Sitting in my backyard, in the sunshine; with my dog, Hubby and belly to keep me company.
Miss Anything? Sushi. I really am a big big sushi eater, so this one is allllways something I miss.
Movement: Baby R loves to kick me in the most painful places!
Food cravings: Slim Jim's. However, I think I craved these before I was pregnant anyway.
Anything making you queasy or sick: I ate three bites of Olive Garden and it came right back up. So great.
Have you started to show yet: I think I feel much bigger than I actually look. However I did experience a stranger help himself to touching my belly this week. That's a first. Excuuuse me?
Gender: All boy.
Labor Signs: Nope, but his head is moving lower, which is good!
Belly Button in or out? In but shallow.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I wouldn't call it "moody." Maybe just "sensitive" ?
How Toby is handling the baby: My hips have never been more sore in my life. I've been taking walks everyday to try and stretch my legs and get my blood moving. Toby is my little walking partner.
Weekly Wisdom: Try walking if you have sore hips. It feels like the opposite thing you wanna do, but it's helped me!
Looking forward to: Not having to wear such an ugly uniform at work anymore! My promo officially starts Monday!
