Sunday Ramblings

There's something special about Sundays; maybe it's because Sequoyah is extra snuggley in the mornings or maybe it's because it's the day we call our moms. I haven't got it quite figured it out yet, but one thing that I know makes it better is going to church. Every Sunday Shane and I go into church early to meet with our bishop for about an hour. We receive a new goal every week that will help us in our journey to get to the temple. Shane and I always walk out of these meetings super giggly and annoyingly lovey-dovey. Sitting together with the bishop and becoming just that much closer to eternity makes us so happy we can't stop smiling. We spend an hour in sacrament meeting listening intently, taking notes and coloring with the occasional sunbeam that wanders over to our bench. We take the sacrament together; remembering our baptismal covenants, the power of the atonement and how hard we have worked to get here.
Unfortunately, we both have to work Sunday afternoons, so we can only make it to the first hour. We are trying to get this changed, but it's kind of a pain to swap schedules for both of us. I'm hoping to find a solution here soon, because the happiness the gospel brings us is overwhelming. Our week is so much better when we attend church and meet with our bishop. I'm so grateful for how much of a spiritual rejuvenation Sundays are. Like I said, there's somethin' special about those Sundays.

Aubs, Ben and I just cried. Like the ugly cry. I am so happy for you. Alaska is treating you well my friend and it seems so is the companionship of Heavenly Father. Love you!

I don't really know you well but I just want to say I'm proud of you.
